Institute for Jedi Realist Studies Newsletter May 2017
Hello everyone, it's been quite some time since I did a newsletter. My apologies. I'd like to share with you what has been happening with me before highlighting things at IJRS. As some know, I was laid off from my steady job 11 months ago. I dove into my friend's solar company, starting it practically from scratch in Colorado. There was a lot to learn, so my energy was directed to that and making enough money in other ways to survive. That meant I didn't have the energy to do much with IJRS. That's why the newsletters disappeared.
I'm now at the point where the business is growing, though I'm still not in the clear. I will still need another month or so to really focus heavily on it, but I'm making more time for IJRS as well. I ask for patience from everyone as I learn to juggle self employment, motherhood, taking care of my wife, and building multiple revenue streams while also being a Jedi. My path is highly focused on being a Jedi in business at this point.
What's important for you is to realize that your path can take unexpected turns. You may have spent a decade being a healer when all of a sudden the Force presents a very different path in front of you. You can try to ignore it and say "I'm only a healer" or you can embrace it and see where it leads. For me, building businesses means that we will have a real life, offline Praxeum for you to train at any time of the year. It means taking the Jedi path one step further. And it means the possibility for Jedi to join a business that is creating positive change in the world without having to hide their Jedi-ness. If that sounds exciting to you, like it does me, let's talk about it on the forum! http://instituteforjedirealiststudies.org/forum/7-living-the-jedi-way/31948-praxeum
Tis the season for Jedi Gatherings! There are multiple scheduled for this year. These are the ones I'm currently aware of for the US.
