This is a very interesting article that talks about the fall of America and the rise of a new heaven on earth.  Apparently, according to the Bible, there is a statement in Daniel that says the bear (Russia) and the eagle (America) will fall.  I am currently searching for this reference, since I don’t seem to be able to find it anywhere.

However, this is a psychic whose information makes a great deal of sense.  I think all students and faculty need to read this article to make sense of the times we live in.

I always enjoy reading her updates.  I wish I could sit down and ask her more specific questions because she keeps this relatively general.  But it’s consistent with what a lot of other people say.

King James Version… Daniel verse 7:1-9

7:1  In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, [and] told the sum of the matters.

7:2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

7:4 The first [was] like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

7:5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns.

7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire.

Many tend to do the ‘bear’ = Soviet Union and … well a lion with wings?  They see that as an eagle coming out of the foundation of the lion… so the U.S. coming from the U.K.     And, few, if any, have come up with the country / links for the other two ‘creatures’.

Unfortunately, sages, scholars, and seers have been putting symbols to ‘now’ since before Christ’s birth… and claiming each generation is ‘the end times’.   Much as I like delving into these writings and backgrounds of ‘how it was’… I am not so certain NOW is any more now than anytime in the last 3000 years.

Sometimes I think these psychics are a bit too generalised. I don’t consider myself to be gifted, but that hard times are coming is, I think, pretty self evident. The general tone of staying positive and all that is all very well, but I don’t find it terribly helpful.

Everything seems so uncertain these days. I’ve always been lucky enough to see my way through the world pretty easily, see where things are going, but it is getting harder and harder to do this. Perhaps this is affecting the psychics too, just too many possible outcomes right now.

You got it, Inari.  My meditations keep showing me too many possible outcomes for the world, and none of them are really good.  It has me worried and frankly upset.  I already know China is going to be a key player in these upcoming events.  But what is the good of being psychic if you can’t change anything?  The Mayan and Cherokee calendars end in 2012 so there is not much time.  I can only use my faith to be strong and keep watch.

Thanks for the reference, Kol.  The leopard (jaguar/cat) is commonly associated with Egypt, so I will focus my attentions there for the next few sessions and see what that tells me.  As for the other beast, that is commonly associated with the Greek kingdoms, so this passage may indeed be referring to events long past. 

I will try to be less morbid with my postings from here on out – this is just the only forum where I can write my meditation findings truthfully and try to make sense of them with the help of other Jedi.

Its not morbid, Loremaster! Please, continue to share with us, I personally find it comforting to know that others feel much the same way as I do (had a good IM chat with Icarus the other day that made me feel much better about some things).

I was doing some research for the Force topics the other day when I read a line that really struck me. It was from a book written by a psychic, a training book, and she said that it is almost impossible to make predictions about something or somebody when you have a vested interest in the outcome.  I think that because events look to be on a global scale, pretty much everyone has a vested interest and that might be a or the reason why we are struggling to work out whats going to happen.

That makes sense.  But we’re also still actively creating the future.  So while I too believe bad things will happen, that doesn’t mean we can’t turn it around.  Some bad things will have to happen in order to get enough people to wake up and act, but then we can start turning this bus around and go the right direction.  So I’m totally hopeful and am trying to do what I need to do so that the future isn’t any more difficult than it need be.

Hmm, this is a very interesting post, i never really saw anything within any Jedi community that began speaking on the so called “end times.” But perhaps i should share a few dreams that i have had. I think they may be relevant in this conversation.
A couple of years ago before i started to worry about the outcome of our great nation, i had two dreams which reinforced that i may be alive to see the ‘end times.’ Or perhaps it is just a great changing of time, i don’t know what it will bring.

I was in my dad’s old house and for some reason i forget now i went outside, i like in a city, san bernardino, if anyone knows of it (largest county in the country). When i walked out onto my porch i looked around and instead of seeing the sub-urban area i live in with all the houses, i saw nothing but desert, no trees, maybe a few small weeds but that was it, we didn’t even have a drive way anymore, i could see the mountains in a distance but they to looked bare, stipped of the green life that covers it today. I walked out where the drive way used to be and looked up. Exactly half the sky was covered in clouds and the other half was a clear night sky, ever star was visible. Just then the clouds began to move and i saw a giant red saturn in the place of the moon.
That is where that dream ends, my ex-boyfriend (who i was with at the time) was christian and showed me a passage in revelations that matched my dream somewhat, i don’t remember what it was now but it was eery.

My second dream is kind of creepy as well.
For some reason my sister, my current fiancee, a friend whose face i can’t make out, and i were all investigating a house that had burned down, when we got there the houses were very packed together, like how it is in San Francisco, but none of the other houses were burned at all not even touched by the fire. Just the one, we looked at it and i saw a doll sitting on the ground, but did nothing. We concluded something about the house then turned to leave. I looked around and the small town had house near the main shopping area, but everything was spottless, no trash or gum anywhere like no had ever lived there. The trees were perfectly maintained and the small town was emaculate. I could see down the road and off in the distance was again, a blank empty desert. We turned and got into the car, it was black and i was driving. Suddenly i saw a little boy with black hair and piercing eyes. I started to get nervous and had to get away from him, i started to roll up the windows of the car when i noticed my cat Beatrice, I called her to get in and she did. As i was rolling up the window the boy walked to the car and just stared in at me, he could have been more then 11 no younger then 7, as he stared Beatrice just kept hissing at him.

And that is where that one ended. I have tried to annylize this dream so many different ways but i keep coming back to the appocolyptic feel it had. I know that dreams are just dreams but i think i need to trust my feelings and i did not like these dreams at all.
I also predicted the fires in the mountains a couple of years ago, except in my dream, i saw the fire as a volcanoe. I predicted my friend thomas would get jumped, although that was really vague, and i kept a friend from getting shot walking home from my house once. I don’t claim to be psychic but i am learning to trust my feelings and as with many of you they are not good for our future.

Something to keep in mind.  We can have visions of apocalyptic events, but that doesn’t mean a physical change.  It can mean a complete change of thinking, a change in hour our culture or society interacts, any number of things.  Just like how death in a tarot deck doesn’t stand for physical death, but a change in direction or rebirth, so too do dreams of apocalypses.  For example, you seeing the world around you as being so different from normal could be referring to your personal world, and it changing around you.  That doesn’t have to mean anything about the physical world.  Do you see what I mean?  It doesn’t mean the dreams don’t refer to the physical world, just that there are many other possibilities.

I know and am keeping and open mind about it, but i was in the middle of high school and there was no real changes taking place around me at the time, for either dream. I tried to relate it to experiences or events that were occuring at the time and nothing fit. And that is what i ment by change. some people think magick will become real and the world will temporarily be in chaos. Who knows, physics could turn up-side-down, lol. Or maybe everyone will suddenly realize what is going on in the world and maybe things will start to get better suddenly. I don’t know, i just present what i feel and what i think for others humble opinions.
