    Tao Te Ching: 49
The wise do not hold opinions.
They are aware of the needs of others.

I am good to people who are good.
I am also good to people who are not good
    Because Virtue is goodness.
I have faith in people who are faithful.
I also have faith in people who are not faithful
    Because Virtue is faithfulness.

The wise are shy and humble
    They behave like small children.
To the world they seem confusing.
Yet people look to them and listen.

I like this one, and may think about it while walking today.

What makes a person wise, Is it knowing everything, or is is knowing that you know nothing(John Snow)?

    Quote:
The wise do not hold opinions.

Opinions are guess’s, sometimes based on fact, but more often, based on feelings. Everyone have them, and much like other body parts they stink. Often opinions are prefaced with the self edifying comment of being humble, which just by stating it, makes you far from it. Opinions can lead people away from the truth in search of proving their opinion.

    Quote:
Because Virtue is goodness., Because Virtue is faithfulness.

I care not who you are or how you act, but strive to treat you no differently, than the person down the street, or in the mansion. We are humans, and nothing should change the way we treat one another, yet oft times, the status of one’s bank account, color of skin, gender, or sexual orientation, (based off of personal opinion taught by society) justifies to people the right to treat others differently, and in a lot of case’s like they are less than human.

Yet we should be as children, accepting, un-opinionated, loving and full of wonder, for it is this child-like state that allows for us to see the world, and life as a whole, as a truly wonderful thing to be a part of.

    Be glad of every breath,
    Thankful of every morning,
    and grateful for every person,
as each is a remarkable thing.
