I’m sure a lot of people have heard about this case, but today I read the most useful timeline of what the government says occured with this dogfighting ring, including Vick’s involvement. Personally, I view anyone who can do these things to an animal is lacking spiritually. To not care of the lives of these animals, and then use them for monetary gain at great sacrifice of the animal shows a great lack of maturity and humanity. If a child of mine ever did such a thing, I would know I had failed as a parent to teach them empathy and love. But if it doesn’t come by the time someone is an adult, and an adult with plenty of money and no need to fight dogs, when will it come? Is he a lost cause? These are the questions situations like this raise in me. I wonder what other people feel?
