Following the warning of it showing too much, I compromised and watched it on mute. Visually there’s some really exciting stuff. I feel like I have ideas but haven’t had spoilers yet. :-)

Well made and interesting for sure but it leaves me with more questions of which the biggest is: “Will I like what is coming and will I be able to go with the new story line?”

Always the question isn’t it? :-) I look forward to the movie for sure. I won’t be going opening night or anything crazy, but hopefully can go the first few days to avoid spoilers. that’s the biggest challenge.

Aye, it is and I’m very much with You and hope that my brother will join me for this as my wife doesn’t have any interest in going as she is not into Star Wars or movies in general. :( But a “boys night out” will be fun too! ;)

Soooooo… I finally got to see it on Fridays, December 22nd, in a very small theater with about two dozen people.

I shall not give out spoilers.

I must admit, there were a few things I did not expect.
And, Laura Dern was a BOSS.
Porgs? Better with butter and herbs. :p

For the rest, I’ll wait until January for those who have to wait to see it.

Seeing it again tomorrow (er.. today?) — Tuesday, Dec. 26th. Keep wondering if I should take notes. :p

I thought it was really good, better on the second viewing. Rian Johnson did a great job of setting expectations alight… it could even out do Empire Strikes Back when everything’s on the table in two years. I look forward to being able to freely talk about it to haters. Fun on many levels.

I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the humor, so needed during such challenging times. I think it’s interesting that Rey teaches herself lightsaber techniques based on her experience with her staff. A totally non-traditional approach to her training. I can’t wait for the next movie!

er… um… not to give spoilers but… “link” might have something to do with that also?
