Well, it does seem rather quiet around here. Are you kids sleeping, or are there still signs of life to be had?

It’s pretty quiet around the web, but still life as well. However, I’ve noticed everything dropping off recently as people get more bogged down by the combination of end of semester exams/projects/homework, the holidays, and then those who are working extra due to the downturn in the economy. I’m noticing fewer people available for instant messenger, yet at the same time people’s schedules are freeing up so I’m seeing old faces again. It’s just a cycle that tends to happen this time of year. I know a few of us are pulling together the last bits of material for courses this January and other supporting documents, as well as getting the website ready to roll out then as well. So there’s plenty going on, just behind the scenes.
What have you been up to? We haven’t seen you in a while either.

Sorry for having been so quiet and I will try to participate a bit more. Lot’s going on here up North right now and I am trying to find some time for personal reflections as well. This time of year is especially difficult for me.
Well, nobody has seen me in quite a while, Jackie. I wouldn’t say I’ve been hiding, but certainly I’ve been keeping busier than usual.

Lol, I figured you’ve been busy rather than hiding. Are you still taking classes with your degree or focusing on nursing rotations primarily?
Mixture of both there, Jackie. Pretty much the same schedule every year: 5 months of clinicals, 6 months of classes. Makes me wonder what happened to the 12th month, but I try not to ask questions like that…
And Chris, where have YOU been hiding, you pesky American?
That is some sneaky math…but eventually it’ll be over and then yhou’ll just be working all the time.

I too have been busy on both family issues and a new community project Ive been working on.
Oh, I still AM working all the time. I do night shifts, too :p
