KeymasterOk, I have officially finished my thesis. There were a lot of people over the past few months who wanted to read it when it was finished (though I don’t know why lol) so I have uploaded it for easy download. Thankfully, in pdf format it’s under 2 megs when it started at 20 megs in word. Lol, formats are funny that way I guess.
So, if you’re curious about what I’ve been doing for 2 years, or if you’ve heard me talk about plasma rockets and such, feel free to take a look. I don’t know how interesting it is for someone who isn’t a physicist, but there are a few pictures. lol And don’t feel bad if you’re confused, it took me a long time to write the introductory stuff because it was pretty difficult to work through.
So here’s the link, until they kill my webspace account at school. https://webspace.utexas.edu/xythoswfs/webui/jm3458

KeymasterIt’s been a while, so they killed the webspace account I’m sure. It’s not very exciting, but I can post it on my public skydrive area. Only the beginning will be of much interest I would think. But, there are pictures, who doesn’t like pictures? haha

KeymasterThe project this indirectly supported is called VASIMR, which you can read about on the ad astra website. Recently, they signed an agreement with NASA to potentially fly on the space station for space based testing. I look forward to seeing it happen, since I was involved in this project twice in my college career. It’s a neat concept that I hope we can make happen.

ParticipantWow, that’s really cool, Jax, way to go!
Incidentally, I have a cousin that works (or worked, not really sure) for NASA, based in London currently.
