To almost echo Jax, thanks Memnoich…but (there is always a but). The problem with this particular logo that we have right now is that its resolution is not high enough. As I found when I was putting together the first workbooks, the logo was not created at a high enough resolution and it simply does not scale up well at all. The current logo (or  your cleaned up version) might be OK for a mug or a small sticker, but it simply will not be good enough for an article of clothing.

Also I think that we’ve got off topic, perhaps its time to split the thread.

no worries, I was just cleaning it up for fun, I was actually working on recreating it at a higher resolution it won’t look exactly the same without the graphics that were used to create the original

I don’t think it has to be exactly the same, but the elements should be the same.  The font is pretty cool though – star wars font! hehe

And yeah, I’m going to split this into a new thread.

Not looking too bad. I would like to request that the image be saved as a high-quality JPG instead of a GIF. And perhaps a little thicker line around the energy ball thingy.

the main reason for the GIF is that JPG doesn’t support transperancy, which is one thing we’ll want for shirts and stuff to have the logo look good no matter the background. Now I can save it as a .PNG, or if there is something specific you need the JPG for, such as the website, I can save a copy with a specific background for you. I’m going to keep various copies in various states to make it easier for editing later. currently, if it means anything, I’m using GIMP 2.0 to create and edit it.

Hmm good point about the .gif and transparency. I’ll have a think about that.
