Greetings, all!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and use this emoticon because I thought it was so cool:

Now, that I have indulged my inner child . . .  I am a 49 year old male (will turn 50 this week) who has been involved in Jedi Realism, on and off, since Episode 1 came out.  Although I have studied a lot of other ‘real world’ practices, I find the myth of the Jedi to be a compelling one and one that I can use for living since the Force is broad enough to incorporate my diverse and sometimes arcane interests.  I’ve sent in my application and look forward to beginning classes.

By the way, I did receive your application but didn’t get to replying today…sorry about that.  Basically at this point you’re welcome to download the introductory course and start working on it at your own pace.  I hope you’ll jump into discussions or start some new ones. I’m sure you’ve learned a lot in those almost 50 years.
