Intro

Greetings all

I am Jacen, formerly known as Streen, and I’d like to introduce myself.

I’d like to apologize in advance for sounding as if I’m bragging, as it is not my intention to do so, but rather to make it clear who I am, what I’ve done, and what I plan to do.

(EDIT:  Perhaps as the first lesson I offer to the students here at the Academy, I’d like to make it clear that the things below that I accomplished in my career as a Jedi were not of my own creation.  What I mean is that the Force is in everything.  In other terms, God gave me everything I have, and allowed me to do all that I’ve done.  I therefore cannot take credit for my accomplishments.  Look at what I’ve done as evidence of God’s and the Force’s greatness.)

Some of you may have heard of me.  A brief history: I was co-creator of Jedi Creed and thejedi.org, student to Mitth, friend of Relan Volkum, redesigner of the Jedi Temple and Temple of the Jedi Arts, mentor to Demetrius Vorak, Sedeo, and Nitro.

My purpose in being here is simple.  I was asked to provide my point of view and apply my experience as a Jedi over the past decade to this new Academy.

I’d like to offer my services to those on the Jedi path that are seeking guidance.  This help that I intend to provide will be partly in posts throughout the Academy, and in offering to those interested an opportunity for one on one mentoring.  If you are interested, please feel free to email me or just reply here.

In the mean time, I’ll be seeing you around the Academy.

Hi Jacen.    I find it interesting that you use the quote about the fictional Jacen.  I think I can see how you would find it fitting for yourself also.  As long as you don’t follow Jacen’s path

LOL  No, I definitely have no plans of becoming a Sith.    But my experiences in life led me to use those quotes from “Betrayal”.  There are several others of course that would have made little to no sense to have in my sig, so I selected the few that better define my life.

Perhaps another time I’ll explain why
