Kai-An
ParticipantHello! For those of you who don’t know/remember me, I’m Kai-An. I was last here probably about two years ago, when a mixture of school, applying to colleges, and my first year of college consumed all the scraps of freetime I had.
Unfortunately I feel like it also forced me to leave much of my training by the wayside. Although i do not need the Jedi path in the same way I needed it when I first joined about five years ago, I truly miss the peace of mind, the mental discipline and the philosophical stretching it gave my spirit. Now that I have a bit more time, it being summer and things, I’m back for a bit. Hopefully I can keep it up during the school year, as my schedule should be less terrifying than it was this year.
I’m looking forward to meeting those of you I don’t know, and seeing those of you I do know again.
Its nice to be back for a while.Much love,

KeymasterYep, welcome back. But I’d have to say, while you don’t need the Jedi path in the same way as 5 years ago, there are challenges that come from the transition to adulthood that the Jedi path is very helpful with. Personally, I made it through my teen years fine. I could have benefited from Jedi training then, but it wasn’t crucial for me. But adulthood, especially my late 20’s were more difficult than I ever could have imagined. Without the Jedi training I have done I don’t want to imagine what it would have been like.

ModeratorHey Kai!!! Welcome back and good to see you.
Trust me I know about the college thing, I was taken by suprise too, and this next year probably won’t bee too different. I wish you luck with your classes though.
Just to piggy back off of what Jax said, she’s right! I’m not sure what brought you to the path five years ago (I feel like I do though lol) but I do know ever since I’ve started college, I am VERY grateful for my Jedi Path, and its helped me through a lot. And that may be exactly why you need the Jedi Path- for that peace of mind, balance, etc. The Jedi path is that personal and big that it can accomodate us no matter where we are on this path of life. Just a suggestion: sometimes its in the active pursing of this path, that we find out how much we can really use it. A lot of time we see people in our lives and think ‘gee there quite content’, but the beauty of this path shows us how content, balanced and at peace we really can be.
Ok, enough ranting, hopfully you got something out of that. Also now that the classes are self-paced and through a workbook, I think you’ll find it much more feasable with your College classes. At least take the introduction workbook to give it a shot, and I think you’ll learn a lot along the way.
Regards,
