Xhaiden
KeymasterWell, most know me, but for a quick intro, I have been around for just over two years. I am a professional teacher, instrumental music at that which goes hand-in-hand very nicely with teaching Jedi topics. I am a person who listens very well and can offer advice. I have been known to help out around the community as I run The Jediism Way, Jedi Resource Center, and the soon to be Jedi Online. Not sure what else to really add but I am very open so if you have a question, just ask!!

KeymasterThe first thing it isn’t is another forum..lol. Just to put people at ease on that one. The last thing the Jedi Community needs is another forum..lol. It’s going to have a few different features. The first is, it will have the Library I have been talking about on a number of sites. For people who register they will be able to freely upload writings as long as it is in the proper format and if it can’t be put into that format it can be sent to me. I am also notified of all uploads so I can check them out to make sure nothing bad is uploaded. When I open the site we will be starting with around 240 writings, and that is just to begin with.
The second part is a comprehensive history of the Jedi Community that is being worked on by someone else.
The third aspect is a polls and survey section. It will just have very short polls or surveys for other Jedi to do. It will be an anonymous way to collect information. I know sometimes newer people can be a little intimidated so this takes away that factor and allows newer people to long time members to have their views heard. It will also be an easy way to see what people want out of the Jedi Community and maybe we can narrow some things down. Eventually, through the use of surveys, I will compile all the information, once we get a bunch of responses, and will write the sections of the website talking about what a Jedi is. I have some further ideas but slow and steady at first.
The final part is I am linking to the Jedi Resource Center/Gatherings Group, Ashla Knights, The Jediism Way, and Kharis Institute (not talking much about it here since it’s not really appropriate) as these being the links from the site for the four different aspects to take place. I am not saying these are the only sites, just what we suggest. Hopefully that gives ya’ a good enough overview. It’s going to stay a very independent site that won’t be attached to any active forum directly, as I want all Jedi to be able to contribute to the Library and polls/surveys. Feel free to ask if you have any questions

KeymasterThat sounds good, and useful. Are we not on the list of links? :'(
We’ll definitely have to link to that once it’s up and running. No need to reinvent the wheel afterall.

KeymasterI should also add that Xhaiden was a key resource in allowing this website to get off the ground. Without his help, things wouldn’t be nearly as pretty

KeymasterThis school will be on the list too, no worries. And if you do visit the site it is VERY rough right now, as in why I said coming soon. People will choose a school that fits them. It would be great to see a couple of good schools that exist for Jedi. Gotta start somewhere though, can’t let you guys have all the fun…LOLOL

KeymasterGlad I could help. As I said, if there is anything you need to know how to do or just want to do with the forum, just let me know. After two years of working on an SMF forum I’ve become pretty good with it..lol, usually..lol.
