This page can be for anyone who wants to get together to practice their Spanish. I will be using the Duolingo app to practice my Spanish and would love to practice with some other people.

Please post in this thread if that is something that would interest you.

All I remember from my one Spanish class 50+ years ago is ‘red’ and ‘water’ and ‘yes’.

So, if you need red water or a yes man… I’m your guy.

Well, you could always download the app and we could learn together :)

I once had American English, six years of school French, a solid year of daily training (8-5) in Russian, a smattering of German, and a wee bit of self taught Latin. Not sure if I really need more languages right now… unless I like having brain cells ooze out my ear.

    ¡Hola!
    ¿Qué tal?
    Estoy bien, gracias.
    Me llamo Chuan, y tú?

That’s what stuck with me after learning Spanish for about two semester. I might be able to order a beer as well. ;)
I would love to go back to learn Spanish but right now I don’t know if I can sneak in the time for it as my focus is on studying Japanese.

I know it’s been a long time since anyone’s been active in here, but I’m gonna be that nerd trying to revive old boards.

Si cualquier persona todavía quiere practicar el español, ¡me encantaría ayudar! El español fue mi especialidad en la universidad, y aun pasé un semestre en el Perú. Pues, sí, ¡conversamos!

Translation: If anyone still wants to practise Spanish, I’d love to help! Spanish was my major in university, and I even spent a semester in Peru. So, yeah, let’s chat!

It’s been a long time since I’ve used the language on a regular basis, so I would love the practise too.
