I was asked to post a write-up on colors and meditation. Unfortunately, I had some tables in the article and I can’t figure out how to post them here. Feeling that the article would loose something if posted without the tables, I have posted it at my blog site. You can find the article here:

Pink

Orange
In balance: Sexual energy, sensuality, happiness, optimism, and friendship
Out of balance: Loss of sexual energy or obsession with sex, fatigue, and pessimism
Yellow
In balance: Self-esteem, willpower, determination, confidence, inner power, mental energy, intellect, and mental alertness
Out of balance: Lack of mental clarity and concentration, stubbornness, inflexibility, and deviousness
Green
In balance: Emotions, including love and sympathy, relationships, harmony, freedom, growth, and renewal
Out of balance: Jealousy, possessiveness, insecurity, dislike of change, and dwelling on the past
Turquoise
In balance: Healing, eloquence and self-expression, independence, and protection
Out of balance: Allergies and other immune system disorders, tendency to be easily influenced, restricted self-expression, and vulnerability
Blue
In balance: Communication creativity, inspiration, expression, peace, trust, devotion, sincerity, and relaxation
Out of balance: Insincerity, suspicion, distrust, sadness, and inability to communicate
Indigo
In balance:Imagination, intuition, clarity of though, dreams, mystery, and secrecy
Out of balance: Paranoia, nightmares, confusion, and deceit
Violet
In balance: Understanding, higher consciousness, spiritual development, link with the divine, idealism, reverence, and commitment
