I’ve noticed lately that there have been a few people mentioning that they are in Colorado. Being in Colorado myself, I’m kinda curious as to how many people we actually have here in state, it might be time to start seeing about some kind of Colorado Gathering. So if you are in Colorado, or nearby, send a shout out, if you are comfortable doing so.August 6, 2008 at 6:18 pm #149112JaxKeymaster
I’m not, but if you wanted to organize a gathering for next summer, I would do my best to be there! It’d be nice to try to go somewhere that isn’t blazing hot and humid during a gathering for once! lolAugust 6, 2008 at 6:31 pm #149114MemnoichParticipant
I am contemplating it, you know there is that Spiritual mecca of sorts here in Colorado. And they just opened a new airline that flies nonstop from dallas to here for only like $100-150.August 6, 2008 at 8:44 pm #149115JaxKeymaster
That would be cool, if I were near Dallas Actually I prefer driving when possible as I get to see more that way. But it depends on how much time I have. It probably takes a while to get to Colorado since it takes 5-6 hours to leave Texas. So maybe a flight is good…
Have you been to the Jedi Resource Center? That is where gatherings are typically planned. I think it would be really good to have a more western location for those of us who can’t make it east every year. Louisiana was quite convenient for me last year, but horribly hot! And Colorado is very pretty! Did you have a general area in mind?August 6, 2008 at 10:17 pm #149116MemnoichParticipant
Well I know from experince, it’s about a 22hr drive from Killeen, TX to here that’s why I suggested the flight. Right now the general area is Colorado, lol. I think near Denver would be best to accomodate fliers, but at the same time there are so many place’s to choose from.

Heck, if this was a little more affordable, this would be cool to use:
