Eating a meal alone is sometimes uncomfortable, as we human beings are social creatures. But there comes a time or a period of time in which it happens to all of us- and that is what this collection of short stories by various authors is about. One bachelor mentioned how he gained experience with spaghetti. To be alone, one author wrote , does not mean one is lonely. One of the most humorous insights I got were the confessions of what we tell people we ate (healthy salad) when in fact it was tuna salad with saltines or peanut butter and banana and bacon sandwiches. ( Don’t ask!) It was a lovely little book.
