Have you ever considered the possibility that it is actually you who is misguided? As I truly believe that is the case, Jax. I’m not saying that a person cannot know for certain that this is or is not God. But without knowing what was said in the . . . part it is not really possible to make that call. If nothing was said in the . . . part then this sounds exactly like God. But if it is God, He can make this clear to tai chi yoda with or without my assistance. And in the end tai chi yoda will know. Yes, it is a good thing to teach students to protect themselves. One can be overly protective of oneself, though. But I’m not worried about him. He seems to be fine. He knows to ask for help. He knows to ask questions.
I’m worried about you. You tell me that you think I am afraid of being incorrect, but that is not the case. I could be incorrect especially since I don’t know what the . . . means. But I’m accustomed to being disbelieved so I am not worried about it. I think this is more a case of you projecting into me something you fear yourself. I think it is you who is afraid of being incorrect. You do have a lot of fear built up. I can feel it. But I don’t think it is God himself you are afraid of. Or even so much being incorrect. I think what you are really afraid of is being controlled. I can understand that knowing what your background and experience with religious community has been like. You were exposed to too much negative control. But there is another fear of God which is positive and is more to say a respect of God and His power. Giving up control to God is a positive thing and removes fear as it is a protective control not a dominating control. Like protecting a child so they don’t hurt themselves. It is a good thing to allow God to control. Sometimes that can make us feel uncomfortable, but the more we learn to allow it, the more we do learn that it is for our better good.
