That’s certainly interesting.  People tend to have trouble with death because they fear it.  Look at the dominant religions of the world and what they tell you will happen.  Either, you’ve been a good enough person and will go to heaven, or you have sinned and not repented so you go to hell.  How’s that for a crap deal?!  So people are afraid of death.  And since they think they only have one life rather than many more, they don’t want to let go of this one.  People cease to fear death when they understand it better.  Personally, I’m not so much afraid of death as of the pain that comes from so many deaths.  lol  But I would be quite sad to die before I’m very old because I love life so much. 

My personal favorite book and best resource on this is Neale Donald Walsch’s last book, Home with god in a life that never ends.  It’s great and resonated the most with me.  It will not only give an answer to your questions, it will give you more questions!  :-D
