I think many people fall into this trap. I have probably done it myself more than I realize. That’s the first step, to realize that you are doing these things. Since it’s always easier to see in others, I often see it when I look around within the Jedi community and see those who claim to be one thing, yet their actions show a lack of true spiritual development. This also reminds me to keep my own training in check and to keep working on these things.
I hope that everyone would take a look at their own life and really see what their spirituality does for them. Do you see some of these issues applying to you? If so, that’s ok. We’re all learning here. Seeing is what allows us to then decide to make some changes. If you’re unsure how to begin, you can ask here or drop me a private email/message. I’m currently working on these things and have linked to my primary teacher on the boards here, but I am willing to share my own perspective as someone currently working on things at a much deeper level than before.
