I think it is a good thing that there are times when we all step back and say, “Uh… I just don’t feel like doing this today.” It’s a great opportunity because then we have the chance to look at ourselves, honestly, and ask why we even got involved in the first place. In other words, we have to go back to the basics. It is easy to get bogged down by drama, confusion, or absolute chaos that seems to penetrate every piece of this community from time to time, but that little moment allows us to look at the situation, objectively, and renew our commitment.

And every single thing is a chance for us to learn.

I find my motivation in the Force. If I strongly feel like walking away, or just being lazy, I feel a gentle tug in the Force. If I choose to ignore that gentle tug, it turns into a hard push. If I ignore that, I will literally get knocked down by a tidal wave of Force energy.

When it comes to physical training, I remember my children. They make me remember that there are people out there that need help and protection, and though I may not be the best “warrior” out there, I can be better than what I am right now, and owe it to others to be prepared should they ever need help.

I have to keep in mind that this is something that I have believed in my whole life, and feel that those involved with this community are those that will build it and lead it into the future, where the possibilities are limitless.
