Highlighting new and interesting discussions on the forum
New Subforum - Ted Talks and Podcasts
For those of you who are audio-visually oriented, we've created a new area to interact with the community through shared Ted Talks, Podcasts, or any other audio-visual material. We have a few examples and you are encouraged to share your own. To stay up to date with this area, subscribe to this category. http://instituteforjedirealiststudies.org/forum/media I recommend all of them, but in particular Susan Cain's Introvert talk. Most of the people at IJRS are introverts, and her work has advanced the understanding of introverts for both the introverted and extroverted. I highly recommend her book, but check out the Ted Talk for a good start.
Saturday we had our first meeting of the Jedi Book Club. There's still plenty of time to join in. You can view the replay and other information here:
We have been looking at different ways to increase public participation on the forums so people stopping by see that we are alive and well. Please share your perspective so we can continue to grow and meet your needs.
That's it for now. Of course, these aren't the only threads on the forum so keep checking in and participating in discussion. Even better, start your own threads so we can strengthen this community together.
