Another newsletter?
Don't worry, this one is short. I'm going to send out short newsletters to help pick up our public discussion activity. I know how busy life can be, but I also recognize the value of taking a few minutes a day to focus on the Jedi path. To facilitate this the faculty has been posting short quotes daily in a series called the Daily Diamond. I recommend subscribing to this board so you get the notification in your email each day and will remember to give them a read. To do this, visit http://instituteforjedirealiststudies.org/forum/quotes and click on subscribe. While you're there, take a look at some of the past quotes and add your thoughts. If you have a quote to share, you may do so as well! We all enjoy thought provoking quotes to stimulate our day.
Noteworthy threads
If you don't subscribe to the forum (or individual boards of interest) to know when new posts are created, it can be easy to miss. This newsletter focuses on highlighting a few.
There's a lot of discord in the world, and in the US we're seeing it very clearly through our political process. This quote is a good reminder to not succumb to the low vibrations of conflict but to be the source of high vibrations.

The Dalai Lama has a famous quote about working hard. It is a near universal issue that we struggle with. Give it a read and join in on the discussion.

I have struggled to find apps that really do what they say and help me create new habits. I have finally found one, thanks to Connor. Habitica uses an avatar that actually gains and loses health, experience, and gold based on your habits and tasks. Check out Connor's post to learn more.

Finally, the daily gratitude thread is growing all the time. If you do nothing else, contributing to this daily can change your life!

That's it for now. Of course, these aren't the only threads on the forum so keep checking in and participating in discussion. Even better, start your own threads so we can strengthen this community together.
