Institute for Jedi Realist Studies - Random Thought #1

Random Thought #1

Yamamoto Tsunetomo once said that in discussing the meaning of the Way, the person who can answer surely and quickly is rare. What a sad thing that is.

If you ask a person to explain the nature of their path, and they are unable to formulate a response in the span of seven breaths, then they are a fool and have no understanding of the way they profess to follow.

In the past, I have always thought it silly that it would take weeks and months for people to codify the ‘Jedi Way’. If it is something that they practice every day and train every day, then for a simple, surface answer all they would need to do is recount the events of that day and how they trained. Of course, this can apply to any Path or any Way.
