A Jedi is a being that follows the Force: as a model, an ideology. It is these that learn the ways of the esoteric warrior mystic.

A Jedi is one who holds reign over their emotions, but does not deny them. They see the Force comes to the true self, and in denying a part of that self, they would deny the Force.

Only when the equation balances is a Jedi found.
