A good question and although it is easy for me to say that I'm not making it a dirge, I don't know if I would make it a dance or a march as it would much depend on the things I'm looking forward to do on the different days. Sometimes dancing would fit the situation or the day better and on other days a good march to reach my goals feels also perfectly fine for me. ;)

It's easy to just live by default. While it isn't a dirge it also isn't music that inspires. Living by default could be elevator music, or muzak. Not sure if it is called the same in Germany. I will see what happens when I view life a song.

I didn't know the word "muzak" but elevator music made perfect sense although we would tend to call it "department store music". It is always there but most people don't even really listen to it and if you do, you are more likely to find it disturbing than elevating or even stimulating.
