Losing weight and get a better condition

The idea to do this is going to bike - I thought 1 hour to the day (So 5h/2 weeks) -, go swimming 2 times a week (2h/week), training home. I don't know how much time it wil take but I think something like 1 - 2 hours a week. I already found a professional training program.
Later on I want to start again with Aikido. But now I can't do it, money problems + most sportclubs are closed during summer.

Activity 2:

Additional Goals:

CPR Certification: _________ if none: Date of Completion:

First Aid Certification: _________ if none: Date of Completion:

Personal Goals:

- Get a healthier life: Stop smoking and think about what I eat.
- Try to have more controle over my life and organise everything: like having an
agenda, try to hold my room always clean,...
- Be honest to everyone also myself.
- Try to find a studentjob and do it, I am already doing this. Also I want to try to have a normal and healthy life when I am working.

Obstacles you face in achieving those Goals:

- Boredom and social activities.
- My chaotic character.
- I don't know, I suppose myself.
- Lack of time - I am a little bit late - and tiredness.

Solutions to those Obstacles:

- Do as much social things as possible and tell people around me that I quit
smoking.
- Make a moment free for myself, I think that meditation will help me a lot.
- Try to think about what I am going to say or do. Rethink things hat happened and
learn about it.
- Make some effort and don't give up.

I don't have any idea for act 3 and 4
Also I don't understant the additional goals.

For the second book to read, I suggest you find something interesting. Are you into leadership, esoterics? Are you thinking about studying meditation? Use something that can help supplement your learning here :) There is also a book review forum for not only book suggestions, but some honest opinions about them and if they helped relate to the Jedi Path.

Also, don't worry about having to buy anything. We have TONS of books. Ask Jackie (Jax) for recommendations... she's got a nice-sized library you can have pdfs or kindle ebooks of.

www.redcross.org/lp/american-red-cross-first-aid-training-courses - First aid course. You should take one in the next two years. Maybe Red Cross is too expensive, but just look up what it teaches and find a cheap, local class. Usually, the local ones will train you in CPR as well.

Maybe I'm assuming something, but do you know what First Aid and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) are? If not, look them up on wikipedia.

Also, you can do other activities. You can volunteer at a local shelter or soup kitchen. Volunteer at a church or temple (depending on religious beliefs). You can go grocery shopping for somebody for free. You can attend conferences about leadership.

All of these things challenge your ability to be helpful to the community around you and to also promote independence. You ask a lot of questions, but I'd like to issue you a challenge: Try finding some things to do that are good for the community around you and DON'T ask us if it's ok to do it. Just come back after you've done it and tell us about it. Read a book you like and write a review on it. Maybe it's a finance book. Maybe it's a book about China. Or, maybe it's even a Japanese Manga. Anything has Jedi lessons in it! Go find them.

Ok I could have found that on my own -.-
I followed a first aid course officially on my school. But I can do it again, always helps and I guess I will live alone in the next two years.
About the Volunteer work, there is a really great obstacle their, my parents won't let me do that, except when it's something healthy, so in natur f.ex. I think working on a farm they will like, so I'll try to do that, I know a few.

Sorry about the question, I am a indecisive person. So you mean that I need to find lessons in books, like reading Harry Potter and learning/reading about trust or friendship?

About the Harry Potter connection: YES. That would be fabulous! :)

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? If you're under 18 (or over), don't feel too obligated to answer if you don't want to. Feel free to PM me with that kind of information.

But, also, there's no reason to rebel against your parents even for "good" lol. So, yes, if you want to work on a farm as volunteer work for now, that's just fine.

If you have taken a First Aid course in the last two years, then you're certified, but it never hurts to take a cheap refresher.
