There are a few bases I like to cover, this isn’t all that I carry there are a few items not pictured because I have them out for cleaning.

Here is what I carry in my pack.
-hatchet
-poncho
-tent poles for poncho to make an “alpha tent”
-fire kit (old school flint and tender)
*i do carry modern fire starters but I do so on my person
-belt of invulnerability
-gloves
-ear pro
-eye pro
-550 cord
-flashlight
-Gerber multi tool
-grab bag containing electronic chargers, wires and a personal first aid kit.
- pouch containing sketchbook/journal and writing implements
-playing cards
-solar charging panels

Not pictured
-fire fueld stove/usb charging station
-aluminum 1L pot
-aluminum 1L water bottle
-survival straw water filter
-duct tape
-2 bandannas

**situation dependent equipment not shown
-sleep system with ground mat can be attached to bag
-army trauma kit. *bulky, I only attach it when I am going to be serving as a first responder

** the bag: goruck gr1. Pricy but lifetime warranty and solid as a brick house

I go to the range frequently.

I also sleep in a large bay filled with middle aged men frequently. You would be surprised how much better you sleep with others when you don't have to listen to them snore.

Makes total sense! I didn't see a firearm so it seemed an interesting choice.

Now that winter has arrived in the Midwest (USA), I cleaned out and reorganized my winter car kit based on: readywisconsin.wi.gov/winter/HowToMakeAKit.asp

I also add small items such as string and tape and a straw water filter (and iodine tablets too).

Fall down seven times; stand up eight.

Great reminder. It finally started getting cold in Colorado so I'll have to think about what's in my daily winter kit.
