Rebekah replied the topic: Happy New Year! 2016

Well happy new year! 2015 was an ok year. I managed to not only get certified for PiYo and as a Youth Exercise Specialist (YES) instructor but re-certified as a trainer under the NASM recertify for life program.

I did a lot of soul searching and figured out what my "ideal life" would look like. I've started practicing positive visualization and asking God and the universe to manifest certain things into my life or to open doors and pathways for my growth and to help me become the best me.

Part of becoming the best me also includes daily meditation. It's part of my morning routine. Helps make sure I wake up on the right side of the bed.

All in all I had a pretty good year. I achieved most of my personal goals and was able to reconnect with family. Found out I'm going to be an aunt to a wonderful nephew. Who I'll get to teach all about Sci-fi and Star Wars! :)

As for 2016 here are my goals:
Outer:
1. Get a job
2. Start a home based business and use Dani Johnson's system
3. Pay off debt
4. Go see three movies in theater
5. Run 4 5k races
6. Finish – 21 day fix, PiYo, P90X3, T25
7. Save $500 in a savings account
8. Order Six Figures in Six Months
9. Complete 1.0 CEU for NASM
10. Either learn Rosetta Stone Spanish lvl 1&2

Inner:
1. Complete 4 IJRS classes
2. Keep a gratitude journal
3. Meditate daily
4. Find the good in every situation
5. Find balance between how I see myself and how others see me

Jan. 1st - Did a banishment ritual to get rid of negative thoughts, feelings, emotions, events and anything that was holding me back.

Jan. 2nd - Used a natural frankincense soap as part of a cleansing/renewal ritual (felt great and both physically and mentally energized)

Jan. 3rd - Doing food prep and mental prep for the week. Setting my goals and tasks for the week and focusing on staying in the moment and finding the positive in all situations.

Isn't that scent appealing this time of year? It's been my go-to incense at my office for about three weeks, first thing in the morning when I arrive. It just seems to put me on track for the day..

Thank you for being an inspiration to me. :)

Love the smell of earthy forest scents. My house is filled with pine, spruce, cinnamon, and frankincense. During the summer I can make a blend of rosemary and lavender from the garden.

Some thoughts from my meditation session last night - 4/25/16 (rather free form so just go with it):
- Mind Fortress
- Hall
- Closet with shelves
- Inside a house
- House in CO?
- On a property with lots of land and only one road leading into town
- Shelves hold containers and boxes of all my thoughts/worries/stresses/ideas....
- Office?

There is "work space / place"
Then there is 'home space"
Then, there is the private "Fortress of Solitude"

Sometimes one or two of those merge to be the same. Sometimes, they need to be totally separate.

Now, about all those boxes and jars....

Ya, I started with the thought of needing to create mental shields or walls. Then it turned into a picture of a closet and so on. Then I got an image of a house and a feeling of "oh, that looks like my dream house!" The boxes and jars are not so much a bad thing just a way to organize my thoughts and a way to focus with out distraction when needed.
