Brandon created the topic: Log in issue

Whenever I load the page after not being on for a bit it always asks me to log in again. When I do it shows me this message "Duplicate entry '' for key 'PRIMARY' SQL=INSERT INTO `joom_session` (`session_id`, `client_id`, `guest`, `time`, `userid`, `username`) VALUES ('', 0, 0, '1411794768', 905, 'Bisko')". When I reload the page it always brings me back to the forum logged in but it's annoying always having to reload the page and it never keeping me logged in. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have a way to fix it? I'm using Google Chrome on Mac if that makes a difference

That sounds like a setting issue, where the cookies aren't working right or something. Try going into your settings and delete the cookies for IJRS. It should be called IJRS or something like that. I've never heard of that type of error, but it seems like something isn't communicating properly in your browser.

I can confirm the first part of your issue Brandon although not the second one.
As I normally use the IJRS board during lunchtime at my work PC, when I want to check the board form my private PC it asks me to log-in again. But the log-in itself is without any issues. So I guess that there is a kind of auto log-out by time somewhere in the IJRS board's settings!?
In general, follow Jax recommendation as she is also somehow our technical specialist! ;)

Yoshio, when there's an issue with the site timing out, the error simply says something about making sure this is your account. It doesn't give those types of errors. That error is completely new to me. But there are a lot of little security options that come up that people don't realize are on, or there are extensions in the browser causing weird issues. It's pretty hard to figure out on my end based on the info.

Jax, it’s not a big deal for me as I simply need to re-log-in and that’s it. I don’t and I’m pretty sure that You are right and that it might have to do with some security settings maybe within Firefox but as it doesn’t really bother me, I don’t care.
If I would have to make a guess, I would go for out-dated cookies, because, as I said, I only can witness this when I want to check the IJRS board after a while on a different PC whereat I had been logged in before. So this or the simple fact that one cannot be logged in on two different devices at the same time here at the board!?

I'm logged in at home, at work, and on my phone simultaneously. There is no limitation as to where you can be logged in. Each individual login location will have it's own timer which only affects that device. But individual settings on browsers can change all of that as well, if you have more strict security settings.
